There are so many people who live their lives based on the approval of others.

The trouble is, that need for approval and validation is actually destroying everything – their self-esteem, their joy, their assignment and their destiny. In Romans 8:31, the Apostle Paul emphasises WHO God is to His people and WHAT He has done for them.

And just to ensure they understood, he poses the question …

“If God be for us, who can be against us?”

The word “if” actually means “since,” therefore it’s an absolute and doesn’t denote doubt in any way.

This Means You Can’t Lose!

However, the minute you start doing what you’re supposed to be doing, you’re always going to get the naysayers. They’re the Job’s comforters. They either want to remind you where you come from, advise you to be careful, tell you you’re doing it all wrong, belittle you and even question your motive.

People will try to stop you getting that promotion, buying that house, moving to a new country or a new State, but listen to what Paul was saying …

No one can stop you, because God is FOR you!

Yes, people will try to get in your way, but Jesus told His disciples, “in the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Notice the word “have” is past tense, in other words, your victory is already secured, no matter how many people in authority or otherwise try to get in your way. If you keep your eyes on the ONE who has already overcome, the only person who can stop you, is you.

My advice to you is, “don’t be your own worst enemy.”

Don’t allow other people to steal what God told you in secret.

When doubt comes in – and it will because we’re human – go back to the Word, both the Word God gave you (the Bible scripture, the prophecy, word of knowledge, dream, vision etc), spend time with Jesus (the Living Word) and get into the written Word, your Bible.

Because There Is Always A Way

When they tried to stop Bill Winston, a preacher from Chicago, buying the mall where he now has his church, he just kept going back to what God had said and he didn’t let any opposition get in his way. They even changed the local policy to stop him having church meetings in the mall he had purchased.

Not only does the mall now house his church, every failing business in that mall is flourishing. Yes, the anointing of God has spilled out into the mall, and God had those people in mind when He told Bill Winston to go buy the mall.

We have to come to terms with the truth that we are carriers of the Kingdom and we’re supposed to see prosperity everywhere God plants us. So when Paul said, “if God be for us, who can be against us,” it wasn’t just about you personally … it was about your assignment and everybody and everything else that would be affected as a result of you carrying out that assignment.

So Stop Thinking So Small!

God’s plans for you go way beyond prospering you, and that is why the enemy will send every obstacle and curveball your way to try and stop you. There is more at stake than you getting the position, title, recognition, money, moving to a new country or State.

In God’s plans, there are no dead ends and there are no lose ends, so block out all the rest of the noise and hear Him.
