When Women Talk About Influence …
I believe we think deeper than it being about untapped potential, positive thinking or even creativity. However, ALL of these things are by-products of influence.
Influence is however an outward expression of who you are at the core, which is why we get so passionate about certain causes or feeling the need to solve certain problems.
It’s what drew Mother Theresa to the streets of Calcutta and Michelle Mone to make millions making bras so that women could feel better.
However, what tends to happen is that we focus on gifts, talents and potential first and then the thing we’re passionate about gets buried in a sea of “can I?” and seeing all of the obstacles.
When you move with heart toward your passion, your gifts and talents will show up … they’ll meet you where the need is.
So many people don’t know what their talent is, but that doesn’t stop them having a burning desire to do something. We therefore ought not to suppress that passion by focusing on whether we have the right set of gifts and talents.
And apart from your gifts and talents showing up when you go after what you’re passionate about, so will the right resources!
