It was around 2009 when I was first inspired by Jerry Savelle to start talking about getting maximum results in a minimum world.
Oftentimes, we’re so focused on what’s going on in the world, we forget that we have a Father in heaven, who has made a way for us, to have life in all of it’s fullness.
This means your business is supposed to flourish!
Taking The Lord’s Prayer Literally
For many of us, we’re familiar with Matthew 6: 9-13 because as children we were exposed to it in church, home and school. But I know from my own experience of my interpretation and speaking with Christians who are more mature (in age and spiritually) than me, that we have no clue of the literal context of that passage of scripture.
However, this article isn’t an exposition of Matthew 6: 9-13, but it is to say that the foundation of how we get maximum results in a minimum world is found within that text …
“Thy kingdom come … on earth, as it is in heaven”
The verses that come before and the verses that come after (and the bit in between, “thy will be done”), is ALL about bringing heaven to earth.
This was God’s purpose in Genesis and we see it completed in Revelation and it’s how we’re supposed to be living and getting the victory in every aspect of our lives and bring hope to others … by bringing heaven to earth.
But We’ve Settled
And this wasn’t what God intended. As believers, we are supposed to dominate this earth and reign in life. Instead, we’ve allowed the world to dominate us and as a result we’re all too often defeated in life.
And let me just be clear, I’m not talking about “Name It, Claim It, Blab It and Grab It!” I can point you in that direction if your focus is just on accumulating things.
However, I’m also not talking about having a poverty mindset and calling it humility.
I don’t see Prince William or Prince Harry having issues with the privileges they “automatically” receive as members of the Royal Family, so how much more us, who are called children of God.
I believe God wants us wealthy, but our priority is supposed to be to “seek first the Kingdom of God …”
And if we’re not reigning, we’re not seeking and if we’re not seeking, we’re not winning in life.
Jesus finished the work so we could win … every time.
