Ever heard the saying “eat your words?”
Whether you consider yourself religious or not, it’s actually a Biblical principle from Proverbs which says that “The tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat it’s fruits.”
You can talk about and moan about your problems all day long, but it means simply that you can’t or haven’t seen a way out. When you start talking about solutions or your future as you want it to be, it’s amazing how you suddenly start moving in the direction of your dreams.
This isn’t an accident, it doesn’t happen to special people and these principles are classless. They will work for anyone who decides to work within them. So the next time someone asks you to call them to talk about your problems, tell them you’re coming to talk about your future. It’s far more powerful and it will produce sweet, not bitter fruit.
