This might sound quite negative, but I really do believe we’re living in an age where narcissism is on the increase. A world where we want more by doing or giving less and we’re consumed by “me, myself and I.”
Whilst the slideshow below certainly won’t be representative of every business, it’s certainly not an over misrepresentation.
If it were, you wouldn’t have many of the millionaire gurus telling you to stop focusing on the money. Some of them made their riches in that way (by taking more than they gave) but now realise that they did both themselves and others a great disservice. They’re now doing you a favour and saying, “don’t do what I did, do what I’m now saying … you’ll get far more satisfaction and you’ll be a lot happier and genuinely fulfilled.”
I believe real entrepreneurs look at value as a cycle rather than a continuum – unless of course the continuum is never ending. But,
to keep receiving value, you have to keep giving value.
I don’t think I can make it any clearer or easier than that.

Sadly, this is what people believe is necessary to survive.
But it’s time to get back to principles … without them, things just won’t work as they ought to.
This slideshow is getting some passionate comments, but what I hope it does for you is encourage you to think “People First” in every aspect of your business.
Reading an article about Local SEO a few days ago and a business owner said, “one of the best parts of my week is a Friday when I pay my employee … and the bigger the check, the happier I am.” And guess what, his business is growing!
