Have you given yourself that kind of permission lately – just to be yourself?
I’m sure we’ve all be guilty of trying to please other people or trying to be like someone else in order to be accepted and liked, but just think about how much you have to give up in order to please other people compared to how much more freeing it is, just to be you! Authentic, one of a kind, original, like no one else! Speaking to people from your heart and not from your head as you try to discern what other people want to hear.
When God created you, he threw away the mould. Why? He knew he would never need it again because he had no intention of creating another you. And you know what that means? It means he loves you just the way you are and so should other people. If you have to change who you are to please other people, you’re robbing yourself your natural freedom to express yourself and I’m sorry to say this, but you’re friends aren’t real either.
Why would you wear a fake Gucci when you have the opportunity to wear an original. No matter how good that fake looks, you always know it’s fake and even if you don’t tell people when they say “oh nice watch,” you daren’t take it off and show it to them because the weightlessness of it would give it away!
Make a decision today to be an expression of your true and authentic self.
It’s that real you that moves you toward your purpose. That real you that has unstoppable passion and that real you that will unleash all that hidden potential.
