Wow Omar,

I can't really argue with you about the fact that I've not had full access to the product and can't therefore review it on the same level as Russell's Micro Continuity program. I'm sure some of my readers would appreciate your great offer and, I'll be in touch to discuss this more with you myself.

Thanks for the candid feedback though Omar and for taking the time to leave this comment.

To my readers, take note of Omar's kind offer above but PLEASE, don't abuse this. Only take this offer if you're going to use it. I personally will have no choice since I need to come back with an updated review which, should be good given that Omar is prepared to stand by his product by giving away some free access.

Hi Trish,

Great post. I agree 100% about Russell's Micro Continuity its a great product and Russell is a great guy. Its always good when you read a review from an experienced marketer that has actually purchased the product and evaluated it instead of just judging the content based on the sales page.

On the same token, I feel you've given Internet Selling For Newbies an inaccurate review because you haven't actually looked into it like you did with Micro-Continuity. You mentioned that your opinion of it being an "overwhelming" product incapable of leading a new person to a quick sale was based solely on the sales page video.

Our 3 prelaunch videos and and leaked chapter alone would have convinced you otherwise but I see in our database that you didn't optin to recieve those, or the free CD, or any of the module access levels -(at least not under the name Trish Jones anyway)

You are entitled to your opinion and I totally respect you as a colleague and peer but I'm sure you would agree that without even looking at the product, you may have arrived at that opinion a bit prematurely.

To show my respect for your opinion I would like to offer you a free FULL access membership to the ISFN site and to the 10 week training course, study modules and bonuses at no charge. simply in exchange for your honest review. In addition - as a compliment to any of your readers that comment on this post within 5 days from the date of this comment I will give them free level access.

I hope that this is acceptable to you and that you approve this comment. You may contact me at my support email and I will promptly reply or you can call the office of MikeFilsaime.com Ext 126 to speak to me directly.

I truly appreciate your opinion and I really like your blog. I have enjoyed my visit here! :)
Hope to speak to you soon.

Regards,
Omar

Re your question about optimizing for different phrases, so long as they are relevant to your main theme of your site, you should be okay.

You will definately need to find out why you're no longer appearing in the search engine listings sophie.

Hope you get this sorted,

Hi Trish,

I think I might have jinxed myself. I'm no longer visible on google search, even if I type in my full site URL!
I'm going to write to Google now at the link you provided above.

Hi again Trish,

I just wanted to share the news that I'm currently No.21 (Page 3) on Google search results for "Self Employment Ideas". This is after starting my blog 17 days ago and with 15 posts over the period.

http://self-employment-ideas.blogspot.com/2009/06/self-employment-through-blogging.html

Thanks so much for your advice. I followed all your tips apart from getting my own domain name, which I intend to soon.

A further question I would like to ask is, if my site is called self-employment-ideas.blogspot.com, can I optimize my future pages for the search phrase e.g. "business widgets"? Will it take longer than "self employment ideas because it is different from my URL?

and harsh but I do know that some people are so lazy! And if they’re not lazy, they just decide not to bother finding out what works online and continue doing the the same old things despite the fact that they’re getting no results and no satisfaction from their repeated no-results actions.

Nice tips on driving traffic and to get to be recognized by search engines. Mostly I always miss one thing in plenty of blogs and that is contact form. We should have that on all of our blogs because it is always needed to contact to webmaster and owners.

Hi W.D.

Since you registered the domain name yourself, you can move it to any hosting server you like ... you just have to know who it was registered with since you'll need to change the domain name server.

With regard to losing your google page rank, this would be difficult for me to say why ... it could be for any number of reasons. Go to the Google Webmaster website and preferably sign up. There is a section on the site that allows you to ask Google about your lost pagerank. www.google.com/webmasters/tools

Hope you get this sorted W.D.
