I got a double shock on Sunday when I received an email from my daughter's School saying that the Deputy Head of the upper School had died on Saturday evening. He was fit at 53 and was taken ill on Monday and died on Saturday. This video shows that he left a remarkable impression on pupils and staff at Colston's. I knew he had been ailing. But, in the back of my mind, I assumed he would be able to beat it. At the moment I heard he was gone, I started to think about what he had accomplished...and more importantly how he embodied innovation, making things happen, and thinking differently.
