Search engine Myths Exposed - And it’s FREE!

I was reading this report, Search Engine Myths Exposed at 3:00am this morning and all I was thinking was “my gosh, to think I paid $800 per month for this same information.”

Now, I’m not saying the $800 per month wasn’t worth it and I certainly wouldn’t know now what I didn’t know back then but if you want to know how to apply simple search engine tecniques to your websites or blogs, my suggestion is that you just don’t hesitate to download this free report … now!

One of my clients told me a few days ago that they were dissatisfied that they had put up a blog some time ago but still didn’t get much traffic.  And I completely understand people’s misunderstanding in thinking that putting up a blog or a website will and should generate traffic, but I use the analogy of building a house …

If I want that house to be solid, it all starts with a solid foundation and the depth of the foundation is commensurate with how big and tall the house is going to be - in other words, the foundation has to take into account the load that it will ultimately bear - including the occupants and their belongings.

But what’s the point of all of this if you don’t build the walls, add the doors and windows and put on a roof?

The foundation of your blog is using the best software and, if you’ve been reading my blog long enough, you’ll know I recommend wordpress.org - not wordpress.com.  You should also use a search engine optimized theme and then optimize the permalinks, title tag and tag line - just for starters.

Sadly, this is where most people stop.  Either they just don’t post at all, or if they do, they totally neglect optimizing their keywords and I’m sorry to have to say it, but their blog is full of … well … FLUFF!  The foundation is there, but this is as far as they build.

Poetry is nice, but keep it for your poetry blog and make sure you add your keywords such as Thomas Hardy and John Keats - see, I did listen in English Literature!! :-)

And one guy that I respect greatly in Internet Marketing, with his no fluff reports is Jonathan Leger who is about to release his free report, Search Engine Myths Exposed, is giving you an opportunity of sampling that free report today.

And what Jon covers are not strategies that you have to hand over to specialist search engine optimization specialists … these are things you can easily do yourself, that won’t cost you any additional money and, is certain to get you listed in the natural search results and bring you free traffic.

If you’ve watched the video, then you know just how valuable this report is going to be to strenthening your business so, click the link to find out the search engine mytths you’ve been exposed to, and what you can do about it.

Best,

PayPal, Friend Or Foe?

“When does PayPal ever protect ME!”

I’ve seen this statement made about PayPal over and over again in the forums and it’s true, some people have cause for complaints but on the face of it, many of the complaints are really down to people not reading and abiding to PayPal’s terms and services.

But seriously now, when does PayPal every protect you?

Let me give you a personal example …

Just over a month ago, I signed up to a membership area with a very well known company online using my business credit card.  To be frank, I didn’t know what I was supposed to be getting for my $97 per month apart from access to a forum and some CD’s that came in the post.  Now, I’m not saying that’s not value, but when I compare this to what I get with Jermain Griggs’ Nitty Gritty Marketing, I had to make a decision and the value Jermain provided won hands down over this competitor product.

Notice I haven’t called any names … My director once taught me … when someone does something worthy of mention, broadcast them, when something isn’t up to scratch, ignore them - it was something along those lines anyway!

But I digress …

A week before my membership was due for renewal, I contacted this company because I wanted to cancel - and it wasn’t easy to find their cancellation details either.  Over about 3 days, I sent various emails using every email I could find for this company - including the one for the CEO … no response.

So I’m getting twitchy because I do not want $97 leaving my account so I enquired at my bank as to whether there was anything I could do.  The bank clerk was very sympathetic but told me they have this trouble all the time and there was nothing I could do since it was the subscription company’s responsibility to cancel at their end.  But as I sulkingly walked away from the counter, she said, “there is one thing you can do … cancel the card and get another issued … you’ll receive it in a week.”

Fortunately for me, there aren’t a huge amount of transcations going through my business account and I was very grateful for the advice and made plans to do exactly that… cancel the card.

Fortunately though, the evening I went online to begin the process, I received a myriad of emails assuring me that my subscription had been cancelled and my credit card would not be charged again. Phew!

Now I’m sure the banks don’t want me to tell you this and those quite rightly using merchant accounts for monthly subscription charges don’t want me to tell you this, but for the consumer, there is a definate benefit to using PayPal when subscribing to memberships because you’re in total control of the cancellation.

And I’m writing from a membership provider and subscriber perspective here so I am not knocking the use of merchant accounts but personally, given the choice, I would use PayPal for subscriptions every time.

As a membership provider, I would prefer to use a merchant account (which I don’t at the moment, but will in the future) because I want to know when and why a subscriber cancelled, whereas with PayPal, subscribers can cancel and continue to access your information without my knowledge.

So perhaps PayPal isn’t such a big foe after all.

Getting The Most Out Of Commenting On Other Blogs

I admit, of all the strategies to build traffic to my blog, commenting on other blogs always came bottom for me.

blog_write_1.jpgHowever, I listened to the likes of Dave Taylor, who suggests you should comment on other blogs about four times per week, and some months back decided I would make more effort to post more comments.  Now, I’m going to highlight my results …

Initially, the response was poor to say the least.  I didn’t really get much traffic and if someone contacted me via my online form, it was to ask me to join their group so they could suck out my brains or, the best one is, they wanted to know whether I built blogs for free!  I won’t even comment on this one.

Anyway, about a month ago, I changed my comment strategy and the results have been nothing short of amazing … Not only have I attracted 3 new clients just from my blog comments, (and I assure you, I’m only doing about 1 a week),  I get better quality comments on my own blog.

Basically, these readers are “noticing” my comment on other blogs and then coming over to my site where they invariably leave a comment that doesn’t just say “nice article,” they’re asking questions or adding to the conversation after reading my blog posts.

But, what did I do…?

I actually only made one very small change …

Instead of using my name “Trish Jones” (that’s me!) in the comment form, I used “The Blogging Queen,” which has become my brand name, thanks to Alex Mandossian.

Now I’m getting attention!  And the people who now come to my blog as a result of reading my comments are more than just browsers who want to see what they can get out of me for free … they’re contributors!  And, I’ve been posting comments on some high authority blogs lately and I know that these readers are serious - not necessarily about blogging - but they’re serious about business … in my view a huge difference.

So if you’ve been posting good quality comments to other blogs and not getting noticed, get yourself an online pen name - one that will get you attention - and see if people don’t notice you.

To your online success,

Alex Mandossian Teleseminar Secrets: Makes Child’s Play Out of Selling

Alex Mandossian doesn’t just teach Teleseminar Secrets - he teaches you online sales strategies … how to make more money online, period!

I’ve had many of my clients ask me over the past weeks and months ”Trish, is Alex Mandossian’s Teleseminar Secrets course any good?”  And naturally, because I’ve taken the course twice now - since you pay once and become a lifetime member - and because I get up at 1:00am or 2:00am (depending on the times of the class) just to participate in these calls, then my natural reaction is always an uequivical “yes!”

Here’s why?

I was priviledged enough to interview Armand Morin, probably one of the worlds greatest Internet Marketers and, it was all because of the confidence Alex Mandossian instilled in me during his Teleseminar Secrets Course.  In fact, he challenges you to take action through incentives and you’ll find out more about this when you become a member of this years Teleseminar Secrets Course.

I was asked to speak on a Women’s Internet Marketing virtual seminar just a couple of months ago and again, couldn’t have done it without Alex’s course.

Many of you may not know this but, I’m a preacher at heart!  Yep, apart from my Internet business, I have an online ministry and my mission in life is to inspire people (mainly women) to live the best life God has designed for them.  I believe EVERYBODY has a purpose in this life and I also believe that the closer you get to living that purpose, the better and more enriched your life becomes.

But the truth is, right now, I don’t want to be living out of suitcases and spending most of my waking life travelling from country to country, city to city inspiring people to live their best life.  I have a 5 year old little girl, whom I adore and a husband who has been my 19-year soul mate and … I want more time with them.  In other words, I want the best of both worlds.

In fact, let me introduce you to my family …

That’s me, my baby girl, Elodie and my soul mate, Chris who is by the way, the worlds #1 daddy!!

The one thing I can’t tell you is that I’ve made millions with teleseminars - not yet anyway … but what I can tell you is that teleseminars has enabled me to enjoy the best of both worlds … I can fulfill my dreams of inspiring others to dream big and not to stop dreaming until their dreams materialize and, I can watch my little girl grow up as well as spending more time with the most precious man in my life.

In less than a months time, I will have two paid membership sites up and running, both of which will enable me to take teleseminars to the next level.  One of them is about building your business with a blog and the other … you guessed … to inspire women to live their best lives.  The main focus of both sites is the interactive mentoring and coaching through teleseminars, a model which developed as a member of Teleseminar Secrets.  In fact, one of the course is about building your business or ministry through teleseminars and because of Alex’s generocity, I don’t have to reinvent the wheel since as a member, he has given us permission to use some of his materials.

Now, I could spend 10 minutes “bigging up” Alex Mandossian and Teleseminar Secrets but if you’re read this far, I’m going to assume that you’re interested right?  Well if you are what I will tell you is that if you can have a conversation on a telephone, then you’re just 70 minutes away from becoming a Internet Radio Show Interviewer and  teleseminar marketing will get you there fast, easy and with practically zero cash outlay.

When you think that that it took Napoleon Hill 23+ years to write his time-honored masterpiece, Think And Grow Rich and yet by utilizing teleseminar marketing, you can interview top business leaders and publish your own “How To” book in less than 27 days, it makes you realize the power of this very underutilized business strategy.

Now you can find out how to mkae the most of teleseminars for growing your business or ministry during a live $20 teleseminar with teleseminar maven, Alex Mandossian.  And, as one of Alex’s protégés I’ve made a special arrangement to SAVE you $70 off the normal $99 tuition with your VIP Discount Code.
