Why I’ll Pay For AudioGenerator Software

How easily do you want to add audio to your website?

Click Here to Listen To Audio

I’m a consumer of Armand Morin’s AudioGenerator and I admit that for a while, I terminated my contract because I was hardly using it and there are some great alternatives on the market, one of which I own the resell rights to.

But, in the past few months, I’ve reopened my account and I have no intention of cancelling my AudioGenerator account, at least, in the future.  But why?

AudioGenerator is "the" easiest piece of website audio software I’ve ever used to add audio to my website, quicktime!

You have three options for recording your message:

  1. Record by telephone
  2. Record by Microphone - which is the one I used, but you do get a bit of an echo
  3. Upload an MP3 file

Once you’ve saved your message, you choose which buttons you’d like to have displayed and then you’re given the html code, which you copy and paste onto your webpage.

The beauty of using AudioGenerator is that the files don’t reside on your server, it resides on theirs.  This means you use less storage on your hosting server, which is good news if you plan on doing a lot of recording.

The other benefits of using AudioGenerator is that you can record audio postcards, you can ask clients to call a pre defined number and record a testimonial for you and you can add audio to your emails.

Why not take a £1 trial and see for yourself whether AudioGenerator is right  for you.

How to convert more visitors into paying customers

If 2 visitors out of 100 purchase your product, then you have a 2% conversion rate, which is considered good.  If you haven’t met this target or think there is more potential than 2% then you’ll want to continue testing and tweaking your website conversion strategies until the desired target is met.  If you are doing split testing using Marketer’s Choice then you will know which headline etc to drop and which to keep.

Testing and Measuring

Test and measure the effectiveness of your website to see how well you are converting visitors into customers.

  • Use the facilities provided by the P.P.C. search engines
  • Use You can use Marketer’s Choice (http://www.marketerschoice.com) for ad tracking, but over time, you’ll want to test:
    • Web copy
    • Web layout
    • Thank you pages
    • Order pages
    • Bonuses
    • Headlines
    • Position of opt-in form
    • Price
    • Guarantee
    • Newsletter style and frequency
    • Autoresponders

Get a website critique

Have an expert critique and review your website.  A website critique from me will cost you $500 and will include a Camtasia screenshot recording so you will have my entire critique recorded for future learning.  Go to http://www.trishjones.com/consulting-services for more information.

Once you implemented any recommendations, you should continue to test and tweak your website to improve the visitor to buyer ratios.

That was the final step of getting started on the Internet and I hope you achieve great success online.

Getting traffic to your website

One of the quickest ways to get traffic to your website as well as do a quick market test to establish whether your product will sell online is to use Pay Per Click advertising.

You’ll want to create an extensive list of keywords and submit that list to Pay Per Click Search Engines (P.P.C.) to start driving traffic straight away – this will test to see if people are buying your product – so, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a long term strategy if you prefer to use other strategies to create free or paid traffic.

Look for the low hanging fruits – the more popular words will cost you money so start off with the less expensive words first and bid on no less than 100 related keywords – that way you’ll get traffic a lot faster.

Using Search Engine Optimization Strategies to get traffic

Optimize your website and then submit your site to organic search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc) – this is to get some free traffic but do the P.P.C. first to start getting instant traffic.

If you don’t know much about search engine optimization, you might want to come back to this step later on, or seek help.  For more information, go to the http://www.trishjones.com and do a search for SEO or search engine optimization.

The final step will cover some strategies on how to improve the conversion rate of your website.  In other words, how to get more visitors to buy from you.

Using Payment Processors and Autoresponders to automate your online business

Now you’ll want to register a merchant account (or set up a PayPal account) so you can accept payment online.  Here are your options for accepting payment:

  • Option 1:  Use a Bank merchant account
    • Usually expensive for most start-ups
    • Lengthy application process
  • Option 2:  Online Merchant account
    • Moderately expensive with high set-up costs and ongoing fees
  • Option 3:  Use PayPal,
    • Well known reputable service
    • Owner of verisign
    • No setup fees
    • Transactions fees fairly inexpensive
    • 100% approval rate

A few good alternatives to PayPal are:

Clickbank - For digital products only though and no tangible products that have to be shipped. Clickbank rates are higher than most payment processors, but they do a lot of the work for you and it’s very easy to get started. A plus is that their service has a built-in affiliate program and they handle tracking and paying the affiliates for you. They also handle refund processing so the higher rates are worth it.

Paysystems - The rates are a little higher than a traditional merchant account but there are no monthly fees.  I’ve not used this service but I know several marketers that do and they’re happy with Paysystems.  There is a $49 setup fee, clear & concise monthly statements and it only takes 24-48 hours to get started.

2Checkout – This is the system I use for my Credit Card Processing.  Very similar to Paysystems. Quick & easy setup, no long term contracts and reasonable percentages.  As with Paysystems, there is a $49 setup fee and it’s quick and easy to get started.

Adding your order link to your website

Once you’ve signed up to accept payment online, it’s time to add your order link to your website.
There should be clear instructions on both PayPal and Clickbank showing you how to do this.  If you still find it difficult, find yourself a webmaster on elance.com.

Automating your Online Business with Autoresponders

You’ll need an autoresponder (Mailing List Management System) so that you can automate the sales process on your website and free up time to enable you to do other things.

An Autoresponder is a computer program that acts like your answering machine for e-mail messages from other people. You can write out your message in advance, like the following:

Dear Christine,

Thank you for signing up to The Influential Woman Ezine.  I know you will be inspired as well as benefit from the many practical tools a woman needs to balance business, life and family and I’m pleased to be able to help you turn your dreams into reality.

To your online success,

Trish Jones

Anyone sending e-mail to your autoresponder e-mail address will automatically receive your message above – without any need for you to send it manually!

A Sequential Autoresponder is a computer program that will AUTOMATICALLY send out MORE THAN ONE pre-written e-mails that has been set to follow-up with different messages in sequence. You can specify the interval between each pre-written messages and send as many e-mail messages in sequence as you wish.

If you’re using a good hosting company, such as Third Sphere, there will usually be a good autoresponder included.  However, if you want a SEQUENTIAL autoresponder as mentioned above, you’ll want to use either Aweber or  Marketer’s Choice.

Adding a subscription box to your website

Add subscription box to your website to capture email addresses and build your list.  As Marlon Sanders would always say, “the money is in the list” so don’t skip this step since it’s vital to the future of your business.

Again, you would use a mailing list management system such as Aweber or  Marketer’s Choice to create a database of names and email addresses that you capture online.

To get people to give you their name and email address, use what Alex Mandossian calls an ethical bribe.  Some examples of an ethical bribe would include a free report, sign up to your ezine or a free downloadable audio.

Uploading your website and product to your web hosting server

Now that you’ve reached this point, it’s time to open up shop.

Upload your website and product to your server, ensuring that the correct links for your product are included in your sales letter and that the download links are all working – in other words, no broken links.

Again, if you’re not sure how to do this, hire a webmaster.  It won’t cost you that much, but if you have decided to purchase Jim Edwards Mini Site Creator, he covers all of this in his course.

Now that you’re officially open for business, you need to get more people coming to your website and capture more names and email addresses so that you can sell your customers and prospects products that you’ll create in the future.

Wrtie your sales letter

When or why should you write long copy?

In essence, the length of the copy should reflect the product or service being sold, therefore, you wouldn’t do a 20 page sales letter for a $29 e-book, whereas if you were selling a $1,500 home study course, people need a lot more information to justify their purchase.

What are the options for writing your sales copy:

  • Do it yourself!
    • Most affordable
    • Great way to learn a valuable marketing skill
    • Once done once, you can repeat and you can only get better!
  • Hire a Professional Copywriter
    • Can be costly – usually a minimum of $500 but realistically, for good copy you are look at spending at least $1500
    • You know your product best so if you get a third rate copywriter, you may kick yourself knowing you could do a better job
    • To hire a ghostwriter, try guru.com or elance.com or, go to powerwriting.com or writingassist.com
  • Use Salesletter software:

There has been much debate on the Internet between copywriters, Internet Marketers and Direct Response Advertisers as to whether long copy sells.  There has also been plenty of criticism directed at sales letter suggesting they’re snake oil, full of hype and often "crappy."  But the one thing that will make your salesletter stand out from the crowd, is it’s interactivity.

Rather than go into a long discussion of what I mean here, it would be better for you to visit Michel Fortin’s website and pick up his PDF document on "The Death of the Salesletter."  It’s 51 pages, but worth every read if you’re going to be serious about your salesletter and converting more prospects into clients.

Basically, in this special report, Michel Fortin addresses the problem of humanising your web copy using audio, video and other interactive strategies to get the attention of your prospects as well as to give them what they want.

Go there now and pick up "The Death of The Salesletter."

We’ve just 3 more steps and the next one is the one that will help you free up some time… automating your online business.

To your online success,
